Our Why...
In Uganda, 1 in 10 girls misses school every month because of her period. Yambi Community Outreach exists to change that.
Founded in 2021 by an all-women team, we tackle period poverty at its root, supplying communities with reusable sanitary pads that last over two years, building dignified sanitation solutions, and delivering menstrual health education that gives women and girls the knowledge they deserve. Because managing your period should never cost you your education, your confidence, or your health.
